Sharni Vison, an Australian American actress and dancer was born on July 22, 1983 in Sydney Australia. Her first acting role was in the year 201 when she was requested to appear in the Australian Soap opera Home and Away where she played a small role in two episodes of the series. The performance she gave in that small part was so captivating that the casting agent for the show asked her to be cast in the principal role in the series. The actress did however try out for the role, but she wasn't selected. Instead, in the same show she was cast in the role of Cassie Turner, who is an unruly teenager in foster care.
