Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and animal rights activist. She is renowned for her films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). Born and raised in an artistic family in New York she wished to be a part of the arts. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw became a global superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. Within three years she was named the number one female box-office starter in the whole world. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
