Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American author, singer and performer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage artist in several Broadway productions before gaining into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's debut in 1957. In the year 1957, she launched her first album of music entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre a 1957 drama film. This film became a big hit and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. As students in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her most memorable performance came from 1964, when she signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise continued to juggle her work across Broadway television and Hollywood acting in more realistic roles, as contrast to her image of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become an acclaimed director of well-known television shows like Supernatural and The 100. She was born on 28 August 1965 in Essex. At the age of 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent her childhood. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there ever since.
